Guest guest
Hey - I'll trade your cold rainy for my 30+ inches of snow, what do you say? LOL! I went out today to go to a friend's baby shower, which was okay. Last night though I went out to a movie - mistake. We had to park about a block away, my ankle was hurting and it was worse because I wore a regular shoe and they come up just to the point my ankle is swollen from the break. So wearing tennis shoes so I wouldn't fall made my ankle hurt that much worse, plus the wind chill was about 15 below when we were walking to the car. I felt like one giant ache when we got home last night. I told Steve I know when the pain is at its worst because I don't even get a buzz off my Hydrocodone, no pain relief and no warm fuzzy feeling! Crap. I hate that. When I get these achies I just feeling like I'm coming down with something. My entire body aches like I've been rolled in a rug and beat with a hammer. gotta love it. I read somewhere you should be grateful to feel pain because then you know you're alive. I'm thinking that was the philosophy of someone who didn't have chronic pain. LOL! When I feel like this my generally sunny disposition (haha) goes out the window. People around me should be glad I'm in pain, because if I wasn't I'd be kicking some butt - everybody ticks me off. Oh well, that's my vent. Thanks for listening. God bless you too! Mindi Poopy day today Well, if it isn't bad enough I have to suffer along with all of you fine people with this crummy disease, Fibromyalgia, but I also have to contend with a plethora of other problems in my life. You know what is funny? (well, not really) I can give good advice to other people with similar problems by saying "you know, the Lord loves you, give your problems to Him, he would never want to see you suffer" but do I take this same advice? Nooooooo....so, basically, right now I am sitting here at 3 PM on a cold, rainy (yesterday it was 85°) Saturday afternoon with a migraine, severe achyness in my knees, tremendous sadness over some personal issues and really feeling sorry for myself. I am glad that I have a message board like this to post all my self-induldged, feel-sorry-for-myself problems without having to hear what I hear so often from family and friends around me that don't have a clue "oh, you have control of your life! you have control of your destiny! you choose how you feel!" blah blah blah...thanks for letting me vent and not judging me by saying unmeaninglful things like the rest of the ignoramouses out there! God bless you!
