Guest guest
>You can forget ever getting any support from these guys. This is proof that the uniformed side of the house does not care. I am not surprised about this at all. The State Police in Indiana formed an " Alliance " to work as a union for them.... No civilian personnel were allowed. In the state police, as a whole, I'm sure there are more civilian personnel than sworn... more dues.. more voting power... Didn't matter... no civilians employees. We receive a lot of " talk " from our brass.. how the department wouldn't work without us... we're the " vital link " .. blah ... but very little action. I know " some " of the road troops appreciate us... but not many... to most we're just a voice that makes them do things they don't want to do.... Sorry... I still love my work.. and maybe many departments are better.. but that's the reality here... has been since I've been on... and until there's a " crisis " or we finally get a Superintendent who gives a damn about Communications, and works for improvement it always will be.
