Cherie,

It's too soon to make any judgements about how you're

going to look . . . It can take six months to a year

before what you see is what you get!

Juicing can cause a herx . . . I'd approach it slowly.

One woman found that the peeling of vegetables contain

silicone and that she was sensitive to silicone. . .

so go easy . . . You could experiment with peeled and

unpeeled veggies to see if that make a difference.

Also . . . some fruits are treated with silicone to

make them shiny and pretty . . . if you're reacting to

silicone, they may cause a problem too.

Without testing, there's no way to know if you're

sensitive. The woman I mentioned is talkiing to a lab

about offering a hypersensitivity test for silicone.

No word if they will do it yet.

Some women react strongly when introducing dark green

veggies.

In the meantime, I'd play it safe and see if it makes

a difference.

Hugs,

Rogene

Cherie,

Juicing made me feel very icky....so this certainly can be related.

Juicing will start to move those toxins around and can make you feel

more brain fogged, more tired, more blah. I would definitely back off

of it. Not that you have to stop doing it, but just be aware that it

can be so effective that you actually feel worse. It doesn't always

happen the same way with all people, and some women can handle alot

more juicing, but for you, pay attention to those little signals and

take things a little more slowly.

Fluffing happens over a period of time, like 6 months to a year. It

is where your breast tissue gets back to what it was pre-implant.

Breast tissue can become compressed due to the implants, and over time

as your body heals, that tissue will refill, or fluff back into place.

Thanks. The fruit and vegies I was using were organic, so I'm

hoping they are free of silicone and other toxins. You know, I just

checked the side effects of the post surgery antibiotic I am taking,

Cefadroxil, and headache and tiredness are both there. I'm thinking

that might be my problem right now. Tomorrow is my last day for

them. I'm not too worried about the shape, I was just wondering.

I'm just glad that there's some breast tissue left. Hugs to you too,

Thank you for the advice. I will go easy on that. I am feeling

sort of gun-ho about getting well again and got disappointed today

when I felt so bad. What I realized since I posted the last note

was that I am taking Cefadroxil which they gave me at the time of

surgery, and headache and fatigue are both side effects. I won't

worry then about my appearance. I just needed to hear that I guess.

Fluffing is when your breasts are decompressing they eventually just

get fuller and look more like the size that they were preimplant. My

breasts took several weeks to a few months to get back to looking like

they did before implants. It is really too soon to know what your

breasts are going to look like.

As far as feeling worse, yes, it could definitely be related to

juicing. Particularly if you are juicing greens. Juicing puts alot

of enzymes in your system and other nutrients. That is capable of

causing detox reactions. Detox reactions can be increased brain fog,

tiredness, headache, and just about anything else. DEtox reactions

show that it is working--drink lots of pure water and slow down on the

juicing. Perhaps skip a day and then juice maybe a little bit at a

time and work up to more over a period of days.

Hi Cherie, I just wanted to let you know you are not alone with the

puckering thing. It has been 1 week since my surgery and i finally

had my stitches and drainage tubes removed today. There is quite a

bit of puckering all the way around each nipple on mine too, I was

originally very happy with my outcome but now I am a bit bummed. It

looks very odd. From what I hear and from what my doctor told me

only time will heal it. Hopefully time will be a good friend to both

of us! Let me know how things turn out!

Jenna - I just read your story on explantation.com - thanks for

doing that - hopefully you will be able to help others. I had gone

from an A (or maybe AA) before surgery to a B with implants, and now

I am probably an A. I'm okay with that, actually feel so free to

have those things out of me. They really don't look too good, they

look normal up to a certain point from my body, but then pressed in -

and the right nipple is sort of pointing downward. I have been in a

tight sports bra, and they haven't had much chance to fluff yet. I

don't regret having them out for one minute, and no one has even

noticed - not even my kids, and we are a very huggy family. I think

they will go back to a decent shape with time. That's what Patty and

Rogene think, and I'm comfortable with that. It's too soon to

really tell how I feel - still taking the antibiotic - are you? I

have started walking again and beginning to return to normal, but

still have a lot of pain in my chest, collar bones, shoulders, and

upper back. I thought I was a lot better the other day, but feel

worse again. Are you going to change your diet and detox?

I saw you wrote that you brought your dog for comfort - mine was a

comfort too, I just love him! It was also comforting last Wednesday

when I knew you were going through it at the same time. Hang in

there, and I pray you continue to heal and feel better each day.

Hugs if they don't hurt too much, Cherie

Thanks for the encouragment. I'm not really that worried about the

shape right now - more getting my health back. But it's good to know

how things went for you and others with experience. God Bless,

I decided to go back to work today. I am a realtor, met some clients

at a property then 1 hour into it I felt very sick and weak. I ended

up going into the office for a little bit but ended up coming home

early. I guess I am getting older...i keep forgetting that I am not

in my early 20's anymore! I remember when I first got implants, I

was out 2 days after partying at the bars...oh my lord! I am taking

the atibiotics too and an anti fungal pill. My scalp is actually

getting worse, I don't know if it is because it got cold here or

what, but my hair is still falling out and i have tons of dandruff.

I have dark hair, so it is annoying. My arm numbness went away right

away which is a relief, but other then that I am having a bad day

today. Feeling very icky....and i lost a TON OF WEIGHT! This is

something that I can't afford to do. I am only at 104 right now, and

I am 5'7 " , so without the big " D " breasts my body does not look

right, I need to gain some lbs. I should be at 125. I was 112 before

the surgery so I am a little concerned about that. I am not sure if

I want to start detox because of this. I am glad surgery went well

for you as well. I am in the same boat, I do not regret my decision

at all! My husband told me yesterday that he really never liked the

implants in the first place, he is so sweet. he says I look so much

beter now. As for the dog....what sweethearts they are. My dog is

like my child, she knows that I am sick from surgery because she is

real careful around me. When she gets up to lay with me on the couch

she does it very slow like a cat. It is really amazing! She is an 80

lb. border collie/lab mix so it is hysterical to see. Well thanks

for the message. Keep me updated on your progress and I will do the

same for you...I don't think I am going to post any more pics until

I heal more....which should be a while. My wounds are still very

fresh and the puckering is still deep. Hugs to you! Well soft hugs...

I am hoping you are going to feel better soon. I think part of the

reason you feel bad is that you are herxing to the antifungal and

the antibiotic. If you have pathogens at all, the antibiotic has

the ability to cause a herx. I herx to all antibiotics now. For

some reason, every time I do any thing that kills candida, I get the

symptoms back even worse instead of feeling better like many people

do. Again, apparently it is a herx of some sort. I think my liver

is probably not functioning optimally and doesn't clear the toxins

fast enough. So you may be experiencing the same thing. Take heart-

-it will get better. But some of us really have to go through these

herxes (cleansing reactions) to get better. I have found that alot

of vitamin C helps me. I take the vitc powder--at least 4 grams a

day--that is one tsp. It works great! Good luck

Hi Jenna - I remember doing the same type of thing with other

surgeries. Thinking " I feel pretty good " , and then doing a task that

normally seemed pretty minor, but it turned out to be a little too

much for me. Our bodies are compromised as a result of the implants

so it probably hits us even harder. I don't know anything about the

detox protocol, however it's probably a good idea to see what Dr.

Kolb's thoughts are on whether or not to start the detox.

I can relate to the weight loss, I've been struggling with my weight

since I got these implants 6 months ago, and now I'm trying to eat

more so that I don't lose any more weight. I thought I lucked out

regarding my hair, however I'm noticing that it feels thinner, and my

sister commented that my hair looked really thick in pictures from

last Easter and she noticed it looks thinner lately.

I'm sending healing thoughts your way!! My explant is on 11/7, so

it's just around the corner.

Hi Jenna,

You might try drinking a BioPure smoothie between meals to help you to gain

weight. BioPure is a whey protein but is very high in quality and easily

absorbed by the body. My ND actually prescribes it for his patients with

cancer. You can order it from myhealthfirst.com, if you are interested.

BioPure is made by Metagenics. My Health First has some information

regarding it as well. I have been drinking it for a few years and with it

and eating six small meals per day, I was able to gain six pounds in just a

few months -- I'm finally in the triple digits! :)

Thank you so much and I am soooooo happy that you are scheduled for

explant! November is just around the corner so it will be here

before you know it. (I can't believe it's almost Thanksgiving)

Anyhow, the hair thinning thing is really strange. I noticed it

recently in my wedding pics as well. I just keep growing it longer

and longer thinking that it will help but it doesn't obviously...now

I just have very long thin hair. I will let you know when i see an

improvement with that. I am hoping it will be soon. I may even email

dr.kolb to see if she has any suggestions on what supplement to

take. She went over all of the supplements with me the day before

surgery and my brain was in such a fog so I really don't remember

half of it! Well thanks again and I will keep you in my thoughts and

prayers!

Good morning, Lea!!

I'm still here. I'd take 10 pounds -- I've never weighed 110 before, except

while pregnant. My grandma always ate peanut butter and honey too, she ate

it nearly every day.

How is your mold coming? My build back should start next week. All the

mold is gone -- yippeee!

Take care,

Kenda
