Guest guest
well darn lol i thought i had a chance lol.... seriously i would have never considered height changes if i had not read where some folks i will add this ... usually persons who were over 400 pounds ...who as they get into the lower 200's suddenly gain an inch or so... it does stand to reason that the heavier you were the more gravitational pull on your bones and space between them... and as you loose massive amounts of weight you could have some rebound of the tissues between the bones... so... still something to think about... i could still get a bit taller ... sigh or not... at my lightest weight i was only 5/7 and perhaps a half... i was measured at 5'6' at some point in the last 5 years but i vehimently denied that height... so... i am babbeling arent i??? yep i need a shake be back shortly :-) hugssssssssssssss Peach -- In GastricBypass-LOSERS , Shaffer <friedabob@i...> wrote: > Funny that I remember height issues coming up on one of the boards this > week. Guest guest
I actually " grew " a full inch according to my doc's measuring thingy. He said some increase in height is common after a large weight loss since joints tend to be more compressed when a person is obese. Also, one tends to stand more erect after losing weight since they are not drug down as much and confidence improves. Sounded logical to me.
