Hello,

I'm still traveling around FL trying to find a place to settle down permanently.

Bed in the RV isn't all that comfortable, am in pain all the time, but keep myself walking at least 3-4 times a day with Footsie, my Sheltie.

It got cold in FL last week, am heading farther south and closer to the ocean with the hopes that my muscles will start feeling better.

Are any of you bothered by cold temps???

Not sure what this "contest" is all about but I'm pretty sure my email addy shows up in the "from" line. If not, it's "wandrinwoman01@..."

Take care and be well....gentle hugs to all!

Your wandrin friend, Caren

I get much worse pain when it's cold, and I am also more keenly away of the cold now. Not sure, though, if it is my Fibro or if it is my thyroid. My Interest just diagnosed me with an under active thyroid, and feeling cold is a symptom. However even before I was diagnosed with Fibro 3 years ago, cold and damp = major muscle spasms (which is what the Drs. called it since men don't get Fibro, they just work too hard <rolls eyes>.

Caren, the cold bothers me so when I do get cold I wear very warm clothes and coat around the house and outside. Seems to help. One Day At A TimeBarb

, I am orginally from Minnesota, have now lived in Arizona going on 14 years now. I have always prided and bragged that I didn't get cold in the winters here very easy. Now in the last month I am cold for what seems like no reason. I come to find out that I have Hyprothyroid also. So I believe it is the low thyroid causing the coldness. But I can also tell you that the cold really affects the muscles. I can not move back to cold country and my excuse would be I have FMS and Hyprothyroid. I guess you could say there is something good in everything.
