Thanks for your warm thoughts Janet..I bought a heating pad with a massage in it, quite soothing, it seems to work somewhat, slept through the whole night last night for the first time in months. Take care all.

Good Morning~I just wanted to pop in and let you know I am alive and doing so-so...It is very cold and damp here, so like Vicki, my back is absolutely killing me too! I do much better when it is cold & dry instead of cold & wet...Vicki, we don't live that far apart so we both must be sharing the same crummy weather....I feel like someone is trying to pull my spine right out of my back...and they aren't using pain-killers either..lol I am doing the constant heating pad thing...and I try to stretch out my back many times a day.Vicki, if you ever want to talk, please feel free to IM me on yahoo..sometimes I am invisible but I always answer all my Fibro friends, if I am there. My son gets on the computer around 9:00pm to chat with his cousin who recently moved..that is very hard on both of them since they grew up together, and now they are 2,000 miles apart.And no, I am not moving..I like the UP even if the shopping stinks!lol(Our President) How are you doing? that even sounds better, but I'm also going through menopause so even tho' my body may feel like its been run over by a herd of bulls in a china shop, the rest of my body is hot hot hot...lol - I'm just so frustrated right now - but trying my best to stay positive .....I'm new to all of this...*sigh*

How wonderful I didn't know they had heating pads with a massage in

it..did you find it at a Walmart? or Online?

Make sure your heating pad is set on low for when you fall

asleep..you can cook you tissues.

Glad you are getting some sleep!

Hi - I know those hot flashes too - I'm 47 and well into them! I started using the Estroven - over the counter at Wal-Mart. That stuff really works for me and I had it approved by my dr before I started it. On the other hand - I get cold from the pain. It feels like my inner core is frozen solid. Try that with a hot flash ! ! ! LOL ! ! ! Sometimes I really sweat, but I sleep so much better!

Hubby also found a blanket that is like a huge heating pad that plugs into the lighter in the car - that is really wonderful for these Wisconsin winters!
