Guest guest
Hello Ladies! My shingles are finally better! Unfortunately for my Bayley, on her 4th birthday no less, she broke out in chicken pox! I could just cry since it was my shingles that gave it to her. She doesn't have a particularly bad breakout, but she started spotting 1 hour before her birthday party yesterday. And I thought I was trying to reduce the stress in my life!!! I decided to try the candida spit in the water test this morning, and of course it showed that I have a problem! I'm not happy about it either because I have been TRYING to eat right and take my supplements and probiotics. Obviously I am not doing it well enough. I need to really cut out the breads and probably re-do the fungal defense program. FRUSTRATION! So while we have been pretty much house bound for the past 3 weeks, and we will be for at least one more, I have been working at home. Last year I had applied for a business loan to open up my own holistic health center, but I had been turned down after months of hard work. I created my own line of aromatherapy products, which have since sat on my shelf or been given out as gifts. With all of the illness I was going through from the implants, I just put the whole idea on the back burner. Now that I am once again well enough to work on something, I have put the ideas back into action online. I am still working on getting my website rebuilt with all of the other products I will be selling, but at least I have everything ready to put in to action since I had done all of the legwork last year. I think one of the main reasons I wanted to do this for myself was to hopefully help heal myself in the process. Of course that was before I found this group, got the truth, and had my surgery : ) Now I truly am on the road to recovery and I can share some of the "feel good" things that I found during my business research. It will take me at least a week to rebuild the website with all of the product lines, but in the meantime if anyone is interested in seeing the homemade aromatherapy products, they are listed. I hope you are all doing well, and I will try to be more active on the board again as soon as I am done setting up the business. Guest guest
Hi , Actually, it is better for your daughter to have gotten the chicken pox at this young age than at a later one. I would have gladly taken my daughter to any friends house whose kid had chicken pox, just so she could get them! She is 13 years old now and has never had them. She had the vaccine, but I believe the vaccine wears off. And as Shari has shared with us, chicken pox as an adult is no fun whatsoever. It is more and more dangerous the older you are when you get it. So, truthfully, it is a good thing your daughter got the chicken pox now. That's fanatastic about your website! I wish you great success! Patty > > Hello Ladies! > > My shingles are finally better! Unfortunately for my Bayley, on her 4th > birthday no less, she broke out in chicken pox! Guest guest
I am so happy for you that your shingles are better! And I feel bad that your daughter caught the chicken pox from them. Especially for her birthday. HOpefully it will be a fairly light case. I think it is better for kids to get the chicken pox than the shot because we saw so many kids getting the chicken pox anyway after having had the vaccine. Hope she is feeling better soon. Let us know when your website if finished---I would like to see it. Hugs, kathy > > Hello Ladies! > > My shingles are finally better! Guest guest
Thanks Patty and Kathy. My daughter has totally broken out now all over her body, but for the most part she is dealing with it well. I give her an oatmeal bath whenever she asks for one, and the calamine is always in my hands. Poor baby! My best friend and her 5 year old son were staying with me when my shingles came and now he has the pox too! He had even been vaccinated against them, so you're right Kathy, the vaccine is not infalible. www.moon-meadow.com
