Guest guest
Hi Anita, I'm not sure why bouncing happens at times, but it's happened to me as well over the years. Often, when a mailbox is full, or temporarily disabled, or defunct, the email bounces. Onlist, it shows up in the Bouncing Members list. However, none of these apply to you and you've not shown up on our list yet. Those are usually the members whose email is not getting through at all. When we find someone on the bouncing members list, we're able to send a reactivation request. (You can do this as well, when your bounce status keeps you from any mail). Sometimes spam filters will grab an email, thinking it's spam when it isn't. The subject lines don't even make sense as "spam". LOL There is one list I have which had a couple members complaining that email from that list only was bouncing. That was sometime back. Yahoo glitches are common enough that I chalk it up to that, as nothing else makes sense. Are you on other lists? Is your email from those bouncing as well? Have you had anyone tell you their email doesn't get through to you? Has it been happening enough that you have needed to reactivate? Challis Im not sure why but I have on several occasions now, found myself in a hard bounce. Does anyone know what that is and how I can correct it???ThanksAnita
Guest guest
Anita, You may try calling your server and asking them about it. I was hard bouncing when i was with insightbb and they said it was not them but I only bounced once after that call. ask them if it is not them what would be causing it. I do not know what changed. Also do a good virus scan on your pc to see if maybe there is something there causing it.
