Guest guest
Hello & A BIG HUGE WELCOME & a Gentle ((((((BONITA)))) You are in the right Place Hun. With all of us we manage to have all of yours LOL! We are a wonderful Support Group. We are very loving and truly care what is going on with our members if we haven't heard from you in awhile we come hunting you down LOL. That is no joke we really do! I am the Founder & President of the site however I have many wonderful Moderators that really keep this site going as I am sick and gone A LOT! Especially my assistant VP Vicki she is always on the ball except when she's working. The 8th. of Dec. I had a stroke on the left side, then on the 21st of Dec. a heart attack (Nice Christmas gift HUN?) Then I managed to catch a double whammy of a respiratory problem one Viral & one germicidal. My orders was to Bed I GO for 2 solid weeks. I was only allowed up to potty and doc. said make that fast and get back to that bed. I fudged a couple times as I was going nuts & I only have so many video's to watch they get boring about the 20th time around! Today or I should say yesterday was my first day out of the bed for any length of time. And yea I will probably relapse now because I came on 11 AM and it has rolled around to 3AM.. That bed is starting to call my name. I have had this monster for 35 years. I had it at 12 and was dx'd at 16. So I have seen and went through most of it. Mine was brought on by the trauma of being raped and stabbed 3 times at the age of 12, then the rapes continued for close to a year and I planted a hot iron in his back and my parents found out and finally made him leave. I won't go into detail but for the next 3 or 4 years he made my life a living hell until he finally went to prison for raping his own 3 yr. old daughter and bit her nipple off! SORRY TO ANY THAT I BRING BACK BAD MEMORIES! However that is how mine started! It has only advanced from their. I once was a professional skater, loved to dance and when me and a male friend would waltz everyone would clear the floor and then give us a standing ovation! Same with my Son and us jitterbugging. Hard to explain that one he was very small and he had a way of kinda bowing and twirling his cowboy hat at the same time to spin me without my arm knocking his hat off. Everyone thought he was being so very polite and just loved to watch us dance! In fact we were in Bob's a Huge nightclub in Ft. Worth, TX. and their was a movie crew there that wanted him to star in a movie with his dancing but he was to shy and wouldn't do it! He may have missed his chance at the big times but I am proud of him he is a licensed Plumber and doing well. Very well when it comes to kids he is only 25 , married and has 5 kids LOL! which he already had at 21 now figure that one and YES they are all his! I was always very active, most of the time had 2 or 3 jobs and they weren't womens jobs they were hard manual mens labor. Oil Field, Building Retainer walls, driving an 18 wheeler cross country. So you can imagine the devestation that this monster has caused in my life as I am now mostly confined to a wheel chair! They want me in it full time but I procrastinate at that if I can walk I AM GOING TO! There are days mind you when I am very blessed to have my chair! And they built it with me in mind as it has wheelie bars on the back and that is no joke lmao! BUT LIKE THE REST I AM SCREAMING I WANT MY LIFE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!! OK I got long winded again. I hope to get to know you and YEP you are in the right place! OH YEAH I forgot to add I have 18 kids, 30+ Grands, & 3 great grands! But that's another story LOL! Guest guest
Hi , Your life sounds very much like my own. I am 51 and I was seriously abused as a child. I was raped multiple times at age 12 as my father watched and my mother turned her back on me. These 4 men were my fathers "good" friends. I was told to stop fighting and not to scream or I would get a good beating from "Dad". I then was told by "mom" that it was all my fault for wearing shorts and t-shirts in front of men. I was severly beaten by both parents on a regular basis. This is where all my depression came from and my PTSD. At age 14 I told on my parents and they called me a liar and then had me taken to court when I ran away. They were told to make a choice. Let my oldest sister have full custody of me or send me away to a girls detention home till I was 18. They chose the latter of course. I had 3 children and had many female problems due to the rape and beatings. I had my hysterectomy at age 22. I also worked hard "man" jobs. I worked construction, drove big rig, worked in the lime kilns in paper mills. Ran skidder in the woods. And many other odd jobs. Now at 51 I am darn near cripple from fms and cfs and much more. Sorry I am so long winded here and I hope this doesn't offend anyone. Hugs and Prayers Bonita from Maine. ~*Bonita*~ Hello & A BIG HUGE WELCOME & a Gentle ((((((BONITA)))) You are in the right Place Hun. With all of us we manage to have all of yours LOL! Guest guest
my rheumo told me that there was thought that fibro had something to do with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and happened to a lot of women who had been abused as children. I thought that was pretty interesting. welcome to the group, Missy Re: ~*Bonita*~ Hi , Your life sounds very much like my own. I am 51 and I was seriously abused as a child. Guest guest
Missy, I have never heard that before. It is something I am going to ponder on for a while. I really don't see any way for them to prove it. But I do know that a trauma to the system is usually what sets it into full gear. Example, I had a total hysterectomy for cancer and within two months time I was bedridden with FMS. Hope you are hanging in there ok.
