Guest guest
ROFL! I used Bromelain while pg, too. It was Carpal Tunnel I used it for then. I found I'd need to eat an entire pineapple a day and decided there must be another way. LOLOL There is some Bromelain in the whole foods prenatal I use. I've added more now. <g> I buy Bromelain on http://www.iherb.com/. I buy several things at a time and a $20 purchase gets you free shipping (no tax). Challis Trista, I don't know if this would help you or not but when i was pregnant last year I felt exactly the way you describe and tired constantly. Of course at that time i had no idea i had MS and set out to find something to help ease the pain and the tremors. I took bromelain, an enzyme found in pineapple which can act as a smooth muscle relaxer, it helped so much with the pain and easing the spasms. Sadly i thought i could get the bromelain simply by eating pineapple but found i would have to eat the outside of it too so i settled for pills. No idea if this information is helpful or useful for you but wish you happy thoughts and a restful pregnancy. Good luck.
Guest guest
LOL. My due date is 9/2, but because of my problems and previous sections, they'll do it early. Probably somewhere from Aug. 20 - 31. TristaWeavinnRaftin@... wrote: On staying pregnant most of the time?? Well, if that's your choice. ROFL Though seriously... I am really sorry for the pain you're finding. I had a lot of pain during my last two pg's and I can't say I really found much to remedy that. Yoga did help some of it. Sombra helped some -- Though that wasn't MSy stuff. I know I had a harder time with the heat and we know pg makes enough of it's own rise in body temp without the summer helping. lol I lived for standing in a cold shower, clothes and all, and just letting the wet evaporate when I was out. It helped and I did it as often as I could. I kept neck wraps, too. Or just wetting a hand towel, wiping down with it and/or just leaving it laying across the back of my neck and draping around (finding myself doing this again now). Lots of cold drinks. And stayed inside most of the day, which just frustrated me but helped. Not what you asked, I know. I got heated at Walmart last week and my Mother told me to pour my water down the inside of my shirt. LOL She used to advise ice cubes in the bra. LOL <shrug> ) What's your guess date for baby?? I don't remember. Hugs, Challis I read that sx's seem to lessen or go away with pregnancy. My pain seemed to almost completely leave me during my 1st and 2nd Tri. Now it's back with a vengeance. My left arm hurts so much I can't use it and my legs are aching really bad again. I also have a new sx. I was laying in bed and my left leg started shaking. It wasn't extreme, just odd. It started and stopped several times and I had no control over it. What I'm wondering is if it's because I'm in the 3rd Tri now, or is it the summer heat which always seems to try to kill me. I had read somewhere that sometimes sx's will come back in the 3rd Tri. Besides the terrible fatigue, the 1st and 2nd Tri I felt sooooooooooo much better! I think I'd just rather stay pg most of the time if it makes the pain go away! LOL. Any thoughts??? Challis???? Trista

Guest guest
When my Wife was pregnant, she used a " TENS Pain Relief Device " for her back pain. the Kaiser Drs prescribed the treatment. It was something she could use while in the easy chair at home. Previously, she had worked childcare but ended up staying home on disability. - Re: pregnancy On staying pregnant most of the time??
