ah it was 4 hrs ago and already I have misplaced the letter   numb skulls  nitwitsAlan MUney MD MHA  here it is! ONLy if we all went to visi t  him and held him accountable. Only if our professional organziations were nimble enough to barrage for  days  and more til change was made , only if..

 instead we are left in the  dust  to rotI do not have easy access to my cigna repI avoid my reps becasue the  whole  thing angers meI try to live in a moslty uninformed state to acheive peaceand oh yes the letter is here-that this is only a sample of changed rates-many  of which on the letter have 0 percent change  But it is a sample an example and is subject to change.

 Knuckleheads. Thank god  cigna is around what else could I do with my temper if we did not have them?

 

I got the same letter as you from Cigna, saying that they

haven’t changed reimbursement for the flu vaccine and will be paying the

$10.52 or whatever as of July 2010, unchanged from last year (why they publish

things they are not changing is beyond me).  That is less than my cost too

as next year’s vaccine will cost me $10.62/dose and I have to look up

what last year’s cost. 

 

Interestingly, though, Cigna paid me $13.13 for the vaccine

last year.  Check to see what you actually got paid.  It seems either

they don’t know what they are doing or they are dropping reimbursement

and just saying they aren’t hoping no one will notice.
