Guest guest
Joe, in your opinion; What would you say 'negative stimuli' is & how do you attempt to avoid it? Also, you wrote: >>So i just try to avoid things that could end up becoming obsessions. How do you tell? Thanks Kev Where I am at now, is, I notice me & my body reacting to how I percieved things or when I handled a situation poorly. When I or " things " difenatley get too stressed, I shut down & backslide, bigtime. However, I now can also almost see it coming too, so sometimes, it takes an extra-push for a day or two, to really keep spirits up & health too. Then move past it. The duration of time of feeling down is getting shorter, & the frequency of things that affect me, are becoming greater apart. This is all good. The point of this was, and I know I didn't get it out, up there was this: I have difficuly when the negative stimuli seems to be a result of other's actions. It is hard to avoid everyday interaction with people. Not that I am finger pointing or judging people, at all. I hate to say it, but those stickers I see that read " mean people suck " - starts to ring a little true to me now, imo. I thought this was important here, so I coped it again. I notice me & my body reacting to how I percieved things, especially, when I think I handled a situation poorly. Kev

Also if this happens to be person no lets say a girl ;-). i would do well to avoid that person that i might have some sort of residue obsession with. Also i no that i'm not gonna bother looking for any kind of relationships at this point, because i know i probably couldn't handle it without become obsessed with it. Normally i could play guitar for like 12 hours a day and that would solve all my problems and fufill all my needs, but since my emotions are temporarily dismantled i can't do that and i'll latch on to anything that makes me feel good, and if this is another person its probably not a good idea. So yeah avoid girls and all the crap that goes on in the world, for now, thats about it. -joe > Thanks > Kev > > Where I am at now, is, I notice me & my body reacting to how I > percieved things or when I handled a situation poorly. > > When I or " things " difenatley get too stressed, I shut down & > backslide, bigtime. Where i work alot of the people can be real nasty sometimes. All i can say is i feel bad for them, that they're so miserable, but i can't say it bothers me, perhaps if they were attacking me though it might. Guest guest
Thanks for the reply Joe. I am the same as well. I also stopped wathing the news, minus local weather. Also, I noticed that I too, latch on to new girls or new relationship hopes, way too quickly. -- This seems to be very non- constructive & and similar to walking a mind field. I too, think its best to avoid at this time, vs. running the risk of possible obsessive thoughts & actions. My work is ok, & the people there are too. I just had a valentine's day prospect, who turned out to be rude & mean. Therefore, I don't care too much for mean or rude or inconsiderate persons, thats all. Thanks again Joe Kev
