Guest guest
Dear Colin from Newtonhill in Scotland -- Welcome. Your symptoms are all too familiar, but it you stick around you will get lots of good information about dealing with the lingering side effects from Seroxat -- the pill that just keeps on giving and giving and giving. Glad you found us. Blind Reason a novel of espionage and pharmaceutical intrigue Think your antidepressant is safe? Think again.
Guest guest
Hi Colin, You said: <<For me, I need help and support to get through this nightmare. Hope you done't mind.>> ***We don't mind at all. Welcome to the group. I'm glad you found us. There are a number of things you can do to ease some of your symptoms, which I am sure will cover in detail later today (I have to hurry here, I have to get ready for work). I won't kid you here; coming off Paxil/Seroxat cold turkey clearly creates some trauma in the brain/body. You have some healing to do. However, there are people who have done this who have managed to recover a functional and productive life. Most who have taken these drugs are forever changed in some way, but often that change is an opportunity for growth. Hang in there--we're here for you. Warmly, Kim (moderator)

Guest guest
>>>For me, I need help and support to get through this nightmare. Hope you done't mind. Best wishes to everyone. Colin<<< Hello Colin, Nope!, we don't mind at all. Pleasure to E-meet you. Welcome to the group. Not certain if Ativan is in the benzo class. But I am beating a 2+ year Zanax useage, along with a whole slew of other wonder pills thrown in too, during my past as well. I am FULLY med_free for 2 months now. The Xanax w/d sure was a damn tough thing, but I did it!!! We'll be here for any support you may need. It's ok, you can lean on us during the rough times. Respectfully & aging, WELCOME!
