Guest guest
Daily I'm on: Estradiol gel - enough to not have hot flashes. Progesterone cream - about 150mg. Testosterone gel - 1.75mg Iodoral - still doing orthoiodosupplementation as my Iodine Loading test came back at 30% instead of 90%, however this is much better than my first Loading test in October, which was 0%. I also have, or should I say 'had' fibrocystic breasts. Also, I have no thyroid so am on 11 grains of Armour. I had been on adrenal support for 2 years, but recently found I no longer needed it. I am ecstatic about that - my adrenals are healed. How am I doing? FANTASTIC! Sam k9gang@... > I'm curious to hear what various members are now on. Guest guest
Interjecting here that I use the Estrogel from Master's Marketing, about .75 at night, then I use the Aerodial from MM, one whiff in the morning. Every four months I use P, about 100mg. for five days, to bring on bleeding. I make NO attempt to 'cycle', as that doesn't seem/feel natural at my age (55) to me. Even on this regimen, I occasionally get some breakthrough bleeding, and I find that it takes me a MONTH to recover even from that level of P. My body does NOT like P. Guest guest
I also have a question, Sam, regarding the adrenal support. What were you one that was so successful? Did you start out with low or high cortisol, esp in the am? I am addressing that one now so your experience would be appreciated. Thanks. C. Guest guest
Estradiol - about .75mg and rubbed on y chubby parts. I was using the Oestrogel from MM, but am getting Estrogel now that my insurance covers it. On Iodoarl, I'm doing the orthoiodosupplementatio - 50mg daily (4 pills). I am having AGE SPOTS disappear, but very slowly. Some of my gray hair at the forehead area has re-pigmented! I started putting a drop of Lugol's Solution (liquid Iodoral) on skin tags and they shrivel and disappear! My fibrocystic breasts do not hurt at all anymore. Oh, I also found I needed to lower my daily progesterone from 200mg to less. When I take too much I just itch like crazy all over, and usually at the worst time. I'm thinking maybe getting the iodine into my body is helping it use my hormones (BHRT, adrenal, and thyroid) better. I used to be so resistent to taking Iodoral, or even reading about it at optimox.com, but I'm glad I did and I'm just kicking myself fornot doing it sooner. By the way, I'll be 55 on January 8th, and I am 4 foot 11. DO you mind a few more questions...... How much estrogel are you doing? Where are you rubbing it in and how often? Are you using the cheap offshore stuff from mastersmarketing? And how much iodoral?? I didn't realize your loading test came back 0%!!!!! So now your fibrocystic breasts are not hurting..that's great. Mine aren't either anymore on iodine. SO how much iodine are you taking daily? Guest guest
Gael, What form of P are you using? nne. Hi nne, I'm on the vaginal suppository that I get from Master's Marketing. I break the 200mg. tabs in half. My doctor knows of this regimen, and although I am not certain that she approves of it, she at least said that I could certainly do worse. Guest guest
Liz, Are you saying E cream makes you break out and the olive oil E doesn't? What kind of E cream makes you break out? Lynne I tried using the E cream again and it just made things worse.
Guest guest
I'm using 12-14mg of OOE a day.I try to go lower and my body just wants the higher dose. I'm also in the process of weaning off of Valium. I'm hoping some of the P is out by now. I tried using the E cream again and it just made things worse. I broke out with pimples. Like I was detoxing. I have no uterus so I don't have any worries about the P, which is good because I will never use it again. Guest guest
I was using the stuff from Medicine Shoppe in SB, not the WP one. I'm not really positive but my neck and face started breaking out after I started the cream. I have not had any breakouts for a long time. It is possible I am just detoxing from something else. I only use the oil on my upper arms. I find if I use my thighs, it doesn't work as good. As soon as I get off the Valium, (which will take me many more months) I want to do a bit of detoxing stuff, but I have to be careful right now as I can detox the V and then I go into worse withdrawals than I already go through. __________________________________ Liz Vernand www.ojaipaintedminis.com From: rhythmicliving [mailto:rhythmicliving ] On Behalf Of lynnelalala@...Sent: Saturday, December 23, 2006 6:54 PMTo: rhythmicliving Subject: Re: very curious about BHRT protocols everyone is on Liz, Are you saying E cream makes you break out and the olive oil E doesn't? Guest guest
Gael, I just looked up the Aerodial. I have never heard of it before. How long have you been using it? http://www.50connect.co.uk/index.asp?main=http%3A//www.50connect.co.uk/50c/articlepages/health_index.asp%3Fsc%3Dstayfit%26aID%3D3255 Thanks! Guest guest
> > I'm curious to hear what various members are now on. What's working > and what's not??? I use Oestrogel twice a day, about 1.2 mg. each dose, adding an extra .15 mg. (1/16 tsp.) if necessary in the afternoons or early mornings (my dip times). I am taking 100 mg. oral progesterone capsules twice a day every 3 months. Haven't had any bleeding whatsoever since starting this regimen in May. Before this, I used Tri-est oral total of 2 mg. estradiol a day with 50 mg. progesterone inserted vaginally for 12 nights every 3 months. With that regimen, I had heavy bleeding for 4- 5 days, and this went on for 10 years. Both regimens cured all my symptoms, but this transdermal estradiol method seems to have stopped the endometrial stimulation. I certainly prefer not bleeding. I never had my blood levels of estrogen checked. I wonder if my estradiol level is in the 100 range now which would explain why my endometrium has become atrophic. I sent off some saliva hormone tests recently. I can't wait to see what they show. I absolutely love estradiol and despise progesterone. I'd like to quit progesterone entirely.
