Guest guest
Everyone correct me if I'm wrong but from my understanding he is one of the best? If you search paralysis/spinal cord forums he is on the cutting edge of everything. I would just double check if he sees patients who have TC etc from injury or congenital. I don't remember. I had one Top guy tell me they only see trauma patients, can't remember if this was him. Good luck! >I was just wondering if anyone had any information or experiences with Dr. Barth Green at the University of Miami. I live in the southeast and am trying to find another doctor closer to home. I had two surgeries at TCI in New York two years ago for chiari and tethered cord. Dr. Green is in network with my insurance so I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about him and if it would be worth a trip to Florida. > >Thanks. >
Guest guest
While we are askign Dr. Green questions, did Dr. Green ever practice in Long Beach, California? My daughter saw a neurologist there in 2000 and he has since moved away-I wonder if this is the same Dr. Green-he had black hair and a sense of humor, I do remember that. Guest guest
A few days before these posts asking about Dr. Green came up, on 10/7, one of our members, , posted a response directly from Dr. Green's office about what he treats. It is a good description. For the person wondering if he/she should see him, if you are close it would be worth a try for a second opinion or third or umpteenth.
