Guest guest
Well then count me in. As for Tony's workouts...I honestly don't remember em...LMAO - it has been a LONG time. So when does this start? If we only do this once a week, how do we reach 100 if there are only 52 weeks in the year? As you can see I am tad confused. I did go to the group home to read the original message but cannot find it. Thanks! RE: abs & glutes/mighty 100 challenges sounds awesome trish!!! im glad that you will be joining us. heck we just want to get our guts and butts together... we dont care if tony gets in on the act although we had better not tell billy...LOL... im afraid that billy might kick tonys a$$... LOL... j/k. so tell me how tony little is to workout with.... ive never seen any of his workouts but he seems like a nice and hyper dude in his commercials. what does his ab/glute/thigh system consist of? just what i need... to hear about more workouts! just like i will never be able to read all of the books that i want to before i die, i wont be able to try as many workouts as id like ...but i hope to die trying *~*~*~*~* Carolyn in ONT Canada RE: > How's about some Tony Little " Abdominal Muscle Toning & Reduction > System " and " Hips Buttocks and Thigh Muscle Toning & Reduction > System " for my abs and glute work? If we only do this once a week, how do > we reach 100 if there are only 52 weeks in the year? oops... sorry to be confusing. there are two challenges... 1. mighty 100 2. wednesday abs & glutes the mighty 100 helps us to focus on and feel positive about the workouts we are doing (instead of feeling negative about the workouts we might not do workouts can be tae-bo or anything we want. we count until 100 and it is fun to urge each other on and it is interesting, personally, to see how long it takes us to complete the challenge. gives us a goal to work for. certainly not a competition... everyone finishes at different times as they follow their own workout schedules. just another idea for motivation. it starts whenever you would like it start i think though that i will count workout days and not individual workouts as some of the time i do two a day (taebo or weights followed by pilates or a 30 min stretching tape). abs & glutes work is a challenge for every wednesday and of course counts as a workout in the mighty 100 while every move in tae-bo involves our abs and of course the kicks involve our butt, we still think that it is important to do some additional concentrated work on those areas. we dont aim to do 100 wednesday challenges in a row but as many as we wish to do... the challenge is really an attempt to get us into the habit of concentrating on our guts and butts for at least one workout a week. join in whenever you like... i think that some of us will start january 1st (which might get pushed up to jan 2nd due to the holiday). i have another challenge in mind (it concerns water...ugh!) but i think that these two will be enough -carolyn in ont canada
Guest guest
Count me in for both challenges starting the 1st As for water, I already drink 10-15 cups a day, no challenge there and my Dr. made me stop drinking more than that, as my uric acid levels went through the roof and I'm on meds for it now. Guest guest
I love water too. Years ago I prayed for a desire for water. Before that I hated water. Now I have to force myself to stop drinking it. Needless to say, my prayers were answered. I love Aquafina water most. I drink about 48 ounces during an Advanced workout and then as much as 8 more glasses during the day. Guest guest
Hi guys... Sorry I've been MIA. Holidays had me crazy ( & LAZY). I'm back & I think if I do the get ripped pink box with the floorwork, that'll count for abs & glutes for now?? So count me in for that one. Also, I'm going to get back on track tonight (if my back cooperates... I don't know what I did... picked the baby up wrong or something but ouch!!) If it doesn't, I'll just do as much as I can without killing myself So I'm in for the mighty 100 too. (Hope I'm not getting too late of a start). I checked the scale this morning... I shouldn't have. I GAINED 3 lbs!! I took a few days off tae bo & I didn't eat as well as I had been eating, but I didn't eat THAT bad I didn't think. Part of me is hoping it's just muscle gain & it's going to start burning the fat soon. Anytime now would be great...lol More motivation to get back on track tonight I guess. Hope everyone had a nice holiday ~Jenn

Maybe until Valentine's Day. I stretched a little this morning (when I went to get out of bed & said OOHHH!!...lol) & I've been doing housework all morning & it seems to be loosening up on me. I was just reading an aol weight loss board & someone mentioned working out in the AM was better for her because it boosted her metabolism. I hadn't even thought of that. Is there a time of day that's better to work out? I'm thinking maybe I could do some time on the bike in the AM (since I don't need to shower right after that as much as I would tae bo & also because if the baby needs me, it might not be as hard to quit in the middle as it would tae bo) Then keep with the tae bo at night. I wonder if it makes a difference when we work out? ~Jenn

I'm not a morning person I don't think. Although I do enjoy breakfast and Formula 1 as early as 4am 3 days in a row. But normally when I wakeup in the morning I'm thinking " oh...many chores to do " and if I thought " I have to squeeze Tae Bo in " I would probably dread going to bed. As you guys may have noticed, I have been doing some of my workouts earlier in the day (late afternoon). It is a nice change. It is hard to workout at 10 or 11 after I have already gotten quiet and restful, etc. But the 10 or 11 area is probably where a lot of my workouts will still come from.
