Fusion to C-5 -- Anyone with information, please

I was decompressed and fusion to C-5 in Nov. 2007. In the last year to year and

a half, the chronic neck and shoulder pain has ret'd. I am back to the point

of not being able to be at the computer for more than just a few minutes -- not

being able to write for just a few minutes -- and not able to read for very long

b/4 the pain just all explodes.

I have a neuro pain stimulator, but it is no longer effective. Have been told

that b/c I am fused I am not eligible for new leads b/c the doc is not able to

do a laminectomy.

Has anyone who has been fused, ever had to have a revision? Has anyone ever had

the rods removed?

Any and all info/input will be greatly appreciated.
