I think I've hammered ACT into the ground now, I've spent so much time working on it I think I may have got all I can from it. So I'm considering combining what I've learnt with what CBT. I know the basic stance is different, but I think it's useful to recognise the 'thought styles' as with CBT for what they are (ie. personalizing, mind-reading, emotional reasoning). I can see the danger being upset when the thoughts don't change, but now I don't expect them to. I'd appreciate peoples thoughts on this. Many thanks.
