Guest guest
Hi jb, Your questions is like asking what scent of perfume is best. Soap noodles can make up of syndet or close to true soap in ingredients. If you could get the INCI ingredients of each type of soap noodle you have access to (accurate INCI's) then we can tell what looks best. You would be far better off making your own soap rather than use soap noodles. It would be less expensive, you would get better soap and you could have more control of how it comes out. Guest guest
JB, You are correct in your assumptions regarding the titer of the fats and oils used in making the soaps. For the most definitive information on this subject you will really need to read 's Industrial Fats and Oils Handbook. This is a very expensive reference source but worth every penny when you are in the business. In short sodium cocoate gives you a soft soap with high flash foam while sodium tallowate gives structure to the bar. Most commercial soaps use an 80:20 ratio blend of tallowate to cocoate but that ratio can be varied depending on the other additives present in the bar. I hope this helps you resolve your problem. Young KY Labs Innovators of Fine Personal Care Products www.kylabs.com Titre of soap noodles Dear Members, I have observed different type of soap noodles. Some are soft, some are hard and some are semi solid. This effects the quality of the soap and for the making a soap with die is a problem.
