Guest guest Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 Pit, you might want to check out www.quitsmokingonline.com. It's more CBT based, but my Father used it a couple of weeks ago and has quit and he tells me he hasn't had any withdrawls. He has been smoking for over 45 years. It's worth checking out. Guest guest Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 The study is posted on the ContextualPsychology.org web site - members can download it for free. Doesn't refer to tapering, rationing, or anything like that, as far as I can see - just the use of various ACT techniques. > > Steve (or anyone who knows some of the details of the Smoking > Cessation Study), > I remember being told that the participants tapered before the > quit, in addition to other things. My question is: What was the rate > of tapering for the participants (e.g. was it one less cigarette each > day?)? > Quote
