What side effects can this Zoloft medication cause?

Some side effects from Zoloft/sertraline are common:

-upset stomach

-drowsiness

-weakness or tiredness

-excitement or anxiety

-insomnia

-nightmares

-dry mouth

-skin more sensitive to sunlight than usual

-changes in appetite or weight

diarrhea

vomiting

rapid pounding or irregular heartbeat

upset stomach

dizziness

excitement

tremor

coma

seizures

hearing voices or seeing things that do not exist (hallucinating)

unconsciousness

fainting

What should I do if I forget a Zoloft dose?

Take the missed Zoloft dose as soon as you remember it. However, if

it is almost time for the next Zoloft dose, skip the missed Zoloft

dose and continue your regular Zoloft dosing schedule. Do not take a

double Zoloft dose to make up for a missed one.

What storage conditions are needed for Zoloft?

Keep Zoloft in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of

reach of children. Store Zoloft at room temperature and away from

excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom). Throw away any Zoloft

medication that is outdated or no longer needed. Talk to your

pharmacist about the proper disposal of your Zoloft medication.

In case of Zoloft overdose, call your local poison control center at

1-. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call
