Guest guest
Hi Try not to worry. I was diagnosed about a month ago. My biggest problem was that I suddenly could not walk, awful knee pain too and wrist pain. Has to lift my own legs with my hands to get in the bath. Also was totally unable to get out of bed in the morning because of stiffness. Now as a 40yr old, I did not expect to feel 90, However, within in three weeks the joints are a lot better. I had to have a small dose of prednisalone 5mg and so far no side effects. Just try and take it easy and dont push it. I found being brave made mobility worse. Then nodules seem to fade but again, more activity seems to make more come. The worst thing I have no is a dry cough. Best wishes Chrissie UKlucianaell wrote: hello everybody.I have been recently diagnosed with EN but have had no skin tests toverify, however im pretty positive ive got it.Some days my symptoms wont allow me to walk because of the pain in myknees, and being a professional skateboarder im not able to do my jobvery well!the lesions accompanied by the fever and body aches are the worst parti think though.I just have a couple questions for y'all,Has anyone tried potassium iodide for the lesions?Does anyone have a good doctor recommendation for los angeles?thank youChrissie Tizzard BSc, MSc, C. Guest guest
You can cure yourself of this if you have the will power to eat the right foods, my wife had this and over came it with her diet. Eat only organic fruits and vegetables, no meat, no wheat products, no animal products, fruits and vegetables. The doctor's wont tell you this, all they want to do is treat you. Its all up to you, can you eat this way for the cure of EN ? Personally I do not have this condition, my wife did, I could not eat that way, it is hard to change your diet to rabbit food. All i'm saying is, it worked for my wife, she has been cured for 2 years with out any sign of it coming back, she eats organic fruits and vegetables only. Good luck if you try this.Subject: new EN memberTo: erythema_nodosum_Group Date: Friday, July 18, 2008, 2:03 AM hello everybody. Guest guest
Hello Dave,Glad to hear that your wife has been EN free for two years! May I ask how many outbreaks she suffered before finding how to stop her EN? I ask this because as you may or may not know, some people get only one EN episode in their life. And some go years, months or weeks between outbreaks. I have been a vegetarian for many years now. Also I cut out wheat for the most part. I have not gone 100% organic yet. I ate meat and all sorts of junk food in my healthiest years before I got EN. Just an observation, but whatever works I say keep it up!Love, idiopathic EN '68 Please enter Erythema Nodosum.........Thanks!Donation Information

Though its gonna be hard for me, I am on a gradual change of diet currently.EESent from my BlackBerry® wireless deviceDate: Fri, 18 Jul 2008 16:47:07 -0700 (PDT)To: <erythema_nodosum_Group >Subject: Re: new EN member You can cure yourself of this if you have the will power to eat the right foods, my wife had this and over came it with her diet.
