Good grief, Duncan! No, I have never heard this. I called 2 people with MS before I had my shot this year--one is a doctor's wife--and was told they both get them. Yikes! He told me that shot could cause an exacerbation. for this reason I will not take one. I have never taken shot. I have had multiple sclerosis for 22 years and I have never had the flu since I was diagnosed. Yes, there is quite a shortage but they are saving everything for high risk people (for which we ALL qualify). Mine is scheduled for next week Monday. We have already had a confirmed case of the flu in Wisconsin, but it was over 100 miles from where I live. Hopefully, I’ll be at full immunization by the time it hits this area.
