got MS.

Good grief, Duncan! No, I have never heard this. I called 2 people with MS

before I had my shot this year--one is a doctor's wife--and was told they both

get them. Yikes! Thanks for the info--I'll ask my doctors the next time I

see them.

Hi Mimi,

I was told by my neurologist not to get one. He told me that shot

could cause an exacerbation. for this reason I will not take one. I

have never taken shot. I have had multiple sclerosis for 22 years

and I have never had the flu since I was diagnosed.

Del,

Thanks for the concern. Yes, there is quite a shortage but they

are saving everything for high risk people (for which we ALL qualify). Mine is scheduled for next week

Monday. We have already had a

confirmed case of the flu in Wisconsin, but it was over 100 miles from where I

live. Hopefully, I’ll be at

full immunization by the time it hits this area.
