Maggie,

you have been in our thoughts and prayers so much.

I can identify with your feeling of being better before the surgery. had surgery on his hip in March 2000, he was bed bound and chair bound for almost 18 months before he got any mobility back..it was supposed to be a 6 week recivery. His Bronchiectasis is partly down to that imoblity we are sure.

I hope you find each day leaves you feeling stronger.

With much love and continued prayers

Maggie here. I'm finally back 7 weeks later, Recovering at home now.I have such a long story and will have to go into it later. Thank you to everyone who sent cards and prayers. They definitely helped lift my spirits at times. I was so severely depressed, because I felt so much better before the surgery. Now I'm on constant O2 at 4 units. I have no energy. The mention of transplant came up, but I'm afraid that'll kill me before my time. I had a doctor tell me the lifespan for a transplant recipient was only 6 years. I know I have more than that. I am not going to let this thing kill me. By the way, have any of ya'll heard of a fungal infection called Cocci (shortened version). Right now I'm doing home infusion therapy. Merram 3 times a day and Amikacin once a day. Plus Sporanox (Titracanazole) for the fungal infection.I have an

infectious disease control specialist on my case now, so I think I'll finally get rid of this junk and start to lead a normal life one of these days, Right now, my poor husband is a single father taking care of 3. He's an angel from heaven. I hope all is well with everyone else.I think of you and pray for you daily. Just that every day is a day closer to feeling better.I truly cherish this group.God Bless,MaggiePost your free ad now! Yahoo! Canada Personals

Hi Maggie,

Welcome back!! I'm so pleased that you are home and on the road to

recovery :-) I'm sure that you will get better and stronger with each

day. Reagan sounds like a real gem. He must be so happy and relieved

to have you home again with the family. Take care and get plenty of

rest, as you need to let your body heal. I will keep you in my prayers,

Maggie. We have all missed you!!

Love Bunny
