The emergency room took x-rays and when they saw how bad her lungs had suddenly become they admitted her immediately to the ICU and she's been on 100% oxygen and 24/7 IV antibiotics since then. She also had some problems with her chest tubes, and her air leak still has never healed either.The doctors are extremely concerned at this point as she is finding it very difficult to breath, her sats drop low when she's not on 100% oxygen, she has too much CO2 in her blood, and they are telling us there is a real possibility she may need to be put on a ventilator (breathing machine). If they have to do that, they may not be able to take her off it for weeks or possibly ever.Please please pray hard for Maggie and pass the word, as it's possible we may lose her. Please whisper to Maggie that we all love her and are praying for her recovery. Take care of yourself too, Reagan, you need to be strong for Maggie as always.
