About the seminar’s content:

The current music therapy job market is one of the most difficult one in years. This seminar is to provide unique information and strategies on obtaining a music therapy position from an experienced music therapist and hospital administrator. Topics covered include strategies to go about finding positions at facilities that don’t advertise, how to best write your resume, how to best present oneself during a job interview, how to negotiate the best possible terms with a potential employer. The seminar will help those who are looking for their first creative arts therapy job and those creative arts therapists who are looking for a work change.

About the seminar’s presenter:

Hara, MA, MA, CGP, MT-BC, LCAT, is currently the director of a large creative arts therapy department in New York City where he has interviewed and hired most of his current staff. A music therapist with over twenty-five years of experience, has develop contacts with various other healthcare facilities and has an ongoing interest in tracking treads within the healthcare field. He will offer his unique perspective on what often helps people successfully gain creative arts therapy jobs.
