Managing an attractive, current and navigable website has increasingly

become a key element in securing a great impression amongst fellow artists,

contractors and potential funders. Often times, due to misinformation,

and lack money and other resources, many artists and organizations struggle

with out-dated and confusing sites.

This hands-on workshop addresses such issues as it will

highlight the importance of a website as a vital marketing resource while

providing participants with the necessary tools and information needed in

website creation and management.

Through “Deciphering the World of Websites: What you

need to know before you start your site,” participants will learn

of the major do’s and don’ts, pro’s and con’s involved

in website management.

Workshop participants will also have a unique opportunity

to converse with representatives of SOMOS ARTE – a

recognized Web development, Web Consultant and Graphic Design Company in the

Latino community – about their marketing and communication needs related

to particular websites.
