Hair Loss Product and Note to Natalia

Hi all,

Below is copied from my original post of May 7, 2002 (Message #5242)

concerning a hair loss product. I have no financial interest in

this product. I only want to let people know that it works.

~~~~~~~~~
There is a product called EVP3-Chemaid that helped save my hair two
different times! It's not a pill. It comes in either a ready-to-
use liquid or a powder that you mix with water and put on your hair
for a few minutes. Then wash your hair with EVP3 shampoo. They
also have a conditioner that you can use.
Go to their website at http://www.evp3.com/introduction_page.html
for an explanation of this product. They explain that " E.V.P.3
Chemaid is a topically applied Doctor recommended, clinically tested
and proven treatment used successfully by both men and women for
over 20 years that brings under control excessive hair loss which
may be caused by either hereditary factors, stress, poor diet,
medication and environmental pollutants. " You can also order it at
http://www.evp3.com/productsprices.html.
Before we got into alternatives and before I knew better, my neuro
gave me chemotherapy in addition to the steroids for my MS. The
chemo (cytoxan) alone did not make my hair fall out, but the
combination of a pain pill (Mexitil) and the chemo did. A friend of
ours who took care of cancer patients on chemo found out about EVP3
and told me about it. So I got some a used it. It worked! I quit
taking the pain pill and with the help of EVP3 my hair soon grew
back thicker.
Some months later my pain intensified. In spite of the fear that my
hair might fall out again, I risked it and took Mexitil again. Sure
enough, my hair started falling out again. This time I stopped the
Mexitil and started using the EVP3 once more. It worked again. I
then threw those pills away.
I hope this helps.
Take care.
Janie
P.S. Note to Natalia: Did you ever email these people (See
http://www.evp3.com/address.html) and explain your situation, that
you needed a more complete detailed list of ingredients before your
doctor would allow you to try their products?
No, I didn't e-mail them to ask the composition of the product; very soon
after you told me about it, we found information about the treatment with
Zn (and antistress) pills, together with the testimonial of a lady who tried
this treatment.. My husband started it, and it was good for him.
We chose this treatment because we thought it might be (much) less
expensive, since we could find the pills in Romania, too, which also
convinced our doctor to prescribe it, because she knew the products and the
producers .
EVP-3 Chemaid would have been surely very expensive for us and it'd have
been difficult to get it... We hope that the actual treatment will be
efficient in the future, too.
Hi Natalia,
I'm glad your husband is getting good results from another less
expensive way to treat the hair loss. I wish him continued
success.
