Guest guest
Do these infections become more frequent the more you get? has been on IV keftazadim 3g twice a day and gentamicin 240mg once a day for the last 9 days and tonight looks like he is brewing a cold! He has a low grade temp and feels limp. He has eaten a fair meal tonight and is asking for pop and chocolate so he can't feel THAT bad! however he does not look brilliant. Can you get a cold whilst on IV antibiotics? I suppose so because it is a virus and the antibs do nothing for the virus...my only worry is when he finnishes the antibiotics next Friday will the cold then turn bacterial resistant to these drugs? Wait and see I suppose not a lot we can do about it is there! Much love Tina Hillier Mum to , 12 years old and possesor of an Extra Special Chromosome.
