Both overspending and no sex drive are side effect of the drug. The drug makes you too relax to worry about money or having any desire for sex. I am not sure if Wellbutrin is for OCD, but it should not have any sexual side effect. The best thing would be to be off drug. Therapy would work, but when my wife was on Lexapro for about a year, our therapist was talking to a wall. She said, "I don't know why she is reacting to the therapy so slowly". It was the damn pill.

Hi. New to the group. My H of 25 yrs on 200 mg of Anafranil for OCD for 17 weeks & it has decreased his sex drive to nothing. Going to try a drug holiday (no meds 2 nights)and have Levitra to help w ED. In the past on Noratriptaline & Lexapro & minimal sex drive. I read Wellbrutrine & Remeron have less sexual side efeects, however the wt gain is an issue also. I wanted to here back from the groups if they have tried a drug holiday or Levitra. Plan to have blood work soon to make sure testerone level is normal which it was 2 yrs ago. At age 50 he seems to have no interest in sex the past 5 years since his second depressive episode. This is his third depressive episode. Overspending the paycheck & no sexual drive are big barriers now in our marriage. I can live w some of the ocd & hoarding. He is not depressed but more anxious. Xanax just made him too sleepy. I open to any suggestions. Already doing individual, couples & CBT. Thank you. Grace
