Guest guest
Thursday, I was a lounge lizard until it was time to go by my mom's for dinner. She made lazagna with garlic bread, and it turned out really good. Then we had this strawberry shortcake for desert, but it was a big rectangular cake so I could have my candles on top. My favorite present was the body pillow my mom got me. After I opened it up, I layed on the couch with it and we watched Law and Order SVU. It was just a nice relaxing day. Friday, I went shopping with my mom and she bought me a Philadendron with a beautiful, greek looking pot. It's beautiful and will be one of the heartier ones like I currently have except the leaves have flecks of yellow which looks soooo cool! She also looked at my two sick looking plants and trimmed away all the dead and showed me what I could use to try to make babies and so I'm working on my first batch of baby plants. I'm really hoping the Hearts on the String take because I can't replace that plant. The Philadendrons are a dime a dozen. So it's a waiting game with the babies and I'm nursing the two sick plants. I bought the game Aggravation at the Half-Priced book store and it was like new so I'm happy about that, and got all my stuff for Easter from this really huge Dollar Tree store. I had therapy that day so my mom made sure I ate before I went to therapy. I was so drained afterwards that I decided to just go to Circuit City to buy a new mouse and ended up getting some DVD movies. Then I went home to unwind. Saturday, I hung out with two of my aunts (from my mom's side) and my mom. We did some more shopping, and we also went to a pottery place where you purchase a ceramic piece and then paint it. I decided to do a trivet this time and used the stencils to draw the blueberries with leaves and a stem. I used the glaze paints and got a lot of compliments on my piece. It will be ready Wednesday, and I can't wait. I have the frame with me and they will frame it for me! I also filled out a card so that I can get a gift certificate for my birthday next year. Sunday, I was just exhausted from my fun filled weekend so I watched NASCAR and tried to catch up on emails and posts. Of course, that is like mission impossible and I'm going to be working on it all this week. Today I'm soooo tired I could cry. The ahole downstairs decided to blast his stereo at 4 in the morning and woke me out of sound sleep. I was so tired that I worked my way into the bedroom, but I could still hear the stereo so I called the landlord. The first time he called he got the answering service so he called back and asked if his stereo was down and I told the landlord that it was still blaring and he was screaming I'm the man so he told me that he would try calling him one more time and if he couldn't reach him he would talk to him next time he sees him because he can't be waking people up like this. I don't know if he got a hold of him the second time or not, but the stereo did turn down and he was screaming, " You f*ing b*tch and then he was either throwing stuff or banging or something because I heard a lot of loud noises down there so I took a shower and then laid back down until my mom called to wake me up. I was so tired I couldn't see so I told my mom that I was going to finish getting ready and lay back down so that I can get a little more sleep before I go to work so she called me when it was time for me to get ready to get out the door. I was still tired, but at least I could see. I had tears streaming down my face while I drived to work because I was still very tired. Lynn gave me some caffeinated chocolate mints so I'm functional, but I'm hoping this day is over soon because I just feel like doo-doo. My asthma surprisingly is doing well and I'm not having any problems there so I guess all's well if you look at it from that angle. Hope you're all doing well. Take care, Angie
