Well, Sandi, at the Paso Robles meeting tonight we all wondered where

you were! Congrats on your surgery date of 4/24/3. You'll be just 6

wks behind me. And isn't it great that you were with family to help you

celebrate this big step!

We had a surprise at the PR meeting. We were blessed by a visit from

Dr. Rabkin of San Francisco. There are 3 docs in California who perform

the DS, and he is one of them. The third is Dr. Anthone of UCLA,

obviously in LA. As a special treat we had Barbara Fletcher, RN,

Ventura, who is an exercise guru. Boy, did she lay out the facts for

us, and made us like it!

Since Kairen is not moving away, she was put in charge of a 5K marathon

in which we can all participate in Sept., just like an AIDS run, or

Breast Cancer, etc. That's only 3.3 mi. I'm hoping I can do it 6 mo.

We also had a lot of looky-loo's, and they sure picked the right night

to have their questions answered. I took a bunch of clothes to trade

off, and half a dozen found new homes. It was a great night.
