Guest guest Posted July 4, 2004 Report Share Posted July 4, 2004 You need to call the social security office and tell them you want to file for SSI. They will send you a packet to fill out and then you will have an interview either over the phone or in person. To Qualify you must show adequate disability and meet the financial requirements. The whole process can take up to 6mths but the payments are retroactive from the day you applied. MISSY SAHM to some special kids!!!
