Guest guest Posted June 27, 2006 Report Posted June 27, 2006 Greetings. I'm brand new to this group, so please pardon me if I am asking a question which has been discussed at length (I will be going through the archives over the next several days). I recently got back my lab results from my most recent doctor's visit and theye show: T-cells at 219; Viral load as undetectable; Lipids as: Cholesterol, 204; LDL, 140; HDL, 27; and Triglycerides, 184. Of particular concern to me, and the reason for this email to you, is that my doctor appended the labs with this note: " Muscle enzyme elevated some -- Please let me know if you develop muscle pain or tenderness or significant weakness of muscles. " I have done some internet research on this and from what I can tell, this may be related to mitochondrial toxicity. Has anyone else here experienced a smiliar reading and if so what course of treatment was either follwoed or discontinued? Many thanks. Quote
