Hi ,

Yep sorry to say,but it sure sounds like Still's.I think you will probably

not get the right drug coctail until they try many things. It's true the

steroids do have long term side affects, but they will probably save them for

when you're in a flare.I am very happy you found our little family

though. It's a great place to find comfort and ask questions about meds

etc.Do you have a Rheumatologist yet. It's very important to find a good one

familiar with SD.My name is Elly and I am old enough to be your Mom,but I

was fortunate? not to get Still's until I was 45.I've had it 10 years

now, with my diagnosis coming 9 years ago.I hope you feel better soon and can

do all the things you like to do.You're family can be a great comfort to

you. Make sure your wife reads whatever she can on this disease so she has a

better understanding of what you are and will be going through. She is

welcome to post with questions and for support also.We are here for you and

you wont find a better group of caring loving people anywhere.Again

welcome, but sorry you need to be here.

Love Elly
