Guest guest
Both my sisters have children with disabilities and have found people to love them and their children. One of their kids was diagnosed with schizophrenia and was in the state hospital at Vernon at age 10. Tell your sister NOT TO GO BACK! No one should have to live a life of abuse. The abuser telling her that no one else would want her is part of the cycle. Women's Protective Services could help her understand it more. Drop me a note if you need help locating a local group for her. Do you experience the same? Was my sister’s former abusive husband right? My sister was married to her husband for 17 agonizing years, she suffered much abuse both physically, and mentally. She’s much better, but dealing with loneliness. Her ex-husband once told her that she might as well stay married to him, because no one else would be interested in her with her retarded son. Our older sister is supporting to return to the abusive relationship because she too believes that the only person wants her is the ex. I believe differently. I’m finding it quite challenging trying to be the positive one in the group, but have no proof to back my positive talk. Was my sister’s former abusive husband right? Is ’s chance for love over? She's beautiful, but when a guy find out about her son , they have a sudden change of heart. I told her to find someone who shares the same experience with his or her own child. That way, understanding would be reached. I need help and advice, If you can help me, help my sister, I would truly appreciate it. Thanks! If you could point me in the right direction, perhaps there’s a singles group in Houston with like interest?
