No all these are prescription only. I know of one other otc-it's called Primatene. See your doctor if the otc meds are not controlling your asthma. Asthma can KILL you. I was diagnosed in 1986. I had a full blown, life threatening asthma attack after I had used primatene. It stopped working for me. I don't remember because I was so sick, but the emts said I was on my hands and knees on the carpet, crying, struggling to breathe. When I got to the ER, they did breathing treatments, and gave me two shots. I was finally able to breathe properly after a couple hours of the albuterol. I carry a rescue inhaler just in case. Prescription meds are not cheap, but they are worth it if you can breathe and LIVE. Please don't try to treat it yourself. See your doctor. Take care, Tom wrote:

My hmo stopped covering allegra becasue claritin was sold otc. I was very mad but the claritin d loratidine is not that expenisive. i thank i pay about 10.00 for a 20 day supply. i thank it is helping alot.
