Guest guest
Dear UK alumni, Our dear Asokan has reached London !!!!! He has specially come here to attend the re-union. I could not believe it at first. My wife, Anu, called me at the hospital. I was in Trauma theatre , doing a few regional blocks. At first she gave me a number to contact Ashok, but then I really thought that he is in Chicago and so decided to get back home first and then make the call. Of late I realized that this number is indeed a UK mobile number and that meant that he must be in UK . Ashok Babu, I sincerely apologize for not being present in person to receive you and show you around London. Its a shame that I did not get any info on your arrival sooner. I could have managed to adjust my on call today to meet you in London , in the evening. A THOUSAND APOLOGIES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel guilty while typing this message. Ayesha had forwarded your message to me . I got to see it, only after I spoke to you. Anyway I plan to leave early 2morrow and meet up with Ashok some time during mid-day . I am not sure about Anu and Akshara, as Akshu has caught a bug and a fever, most probably from the creche. I have personally assessed her and she , at present, is not fit to travel. My contact number is 07985063801. I am staying at Travel Inn, road, Heathrow. ( for Sat night) Phone 08701 977132. I only wish that I could be as dedicated as Ashok. !!! See all you folks tomorrow. I just took out my dirty Lungi and wondered whether it would be feasible to wear it tomorrow. Then I remebered the implications of Hypothermia and placed it back, wherever it was. GOOD TO HEAR YOUR VOICE , ASHOK anna !! I will catch up with you the first thing in the morning. Bye for now. regards, Ravi `91.

But, seriously, Ashok, you deserve a brisk pat on the back for making the great inter-continental leap. Kudos! Dekha yaaro! MGIMS premi kuch bhi kar sakte hai!
