Actually Jane ey said it was a prescription medication for hives, which

I'm guessing was a corticosteroid - and I remember people on this list saying

that steroids had caused or aggravated OCD in their family members. Kind of

scary, isn't it? There is also an antidepressant (doxepin) that is occasionally

prescribed for hives, and that could of course precipitate mania in susceptible

individuals. (By the way, isn't that what Monk took this past week which

caused him to become manic?? It kind of sounded that like name).

But this is all speculation - I have no idea what Jane ey actually was

taking. So don't quote me!!

Thanks, Kathy. Mania is definitely not what he's experiencing-just a little

fidgety-type stuff..........
