Guest guest
Actually Jane ey said it was a prescription medication for hives, which I'm guessing was a corticosteroid - and I remember people on this list saying that steroids had caused or aggravated OCD in their family members. Kind of scary, isn't it? There is also an antidepressant (doxepin) that is occasionally prescribed for hives, and that could of course precipitate mania in susceptible individuals. (By the way, isn't that what Monk took this past week which caused him to become manic?? It kind of sounded that like name). But this is all speculation - I have no idea what Jane ey actually was taking. So don't quote me!! in NV

Guest guest
Thanks, Kathy. Mania is definitely not what he's experiencing-just a little fidgety-type stuff..........
