She stated that it is from the malfunction of cones in the eyes that detect shadow/light and is associated with " night vision " . She stated that many people with autism cannot perceive depth and see color like the 3-D posters at the mall. She also stated that daily doses (RDA standard) of cod liver oil can significantly reduce this problem. Don't know if this helps, but I hope it does!
