Guest guest
I take Neurontin too, 600 x 3. My neuropathy is pretty difficult to manage. Without the Neurontin, without the alpha-lipoic acid, without the evening primrose oil I wake up with shooting pains that cause me to cry out. I don't think its great for the liver, but the alternatives appear to be worse. There's a newer one out, Lyrica, which I haven't heard a great deal about, but looks somewhat promising. The only person I know taking it right now is a man with diabetes doing chemotherapy for prostate cancer. He doesn't have hep, but they also don't want to stress his liver either. I need to do more research on this one. My Endochrinologist didn't have a clue, hadn't heard of it at all. Do you have info if it is okay for me to be taking Neurontin (gabapentin) which started at 150mg x 3 per day, then 300 mg x 3; now worked up to 450mg x 4 per day. Really don't want to make a bigger mess of this body!
