Guest guest
, thanks so much for sharing, I'm really happy things have smoothed out and are going so great now! He's really made a terrific recovery, sorry he had to go thru a few rough spots med-wise. Sounds like he has a lot of determination too, not to let OCD back into his life. He's probably a bit amazed at where he was and how well he's doing now too! Well, even though he is doing so well, please keep us updated and join in here with suggestions/comments. And I'm sure anyone just now entering this bizarre world of OCD (and future members) will love to read how well he's doing now too! > > Hi, > I first joined this group in July after my son was diagnosed with OCD and had > a dramatic over night kind of onset. I have learned so much here and will continue to be a part of the community. I do take his recovery day by day and know that this list will be an important resource for me. Thanks,

I feel this list will be very comforting. How right you are, : we can never love each other ''too much'', nor ''communicate too much'' with one another. I lost a very good male friend to suicide by hanging on November 5, and learned the news only last night. I am glad I did a lot of listening, talking, comforting to him during July and August. I know I could have initiated more contacts with him than I did, but I was incapable, as I was too overwhelmed myself by my own anxieties, and suffering.
