Just a reminder. If you have not contacted them already and / or don't know

if your

school system has had one of these meetings yet, please contact the Special

Ed Director

for your system. All of these meetings are scheduled by each individual

school system and meet

at various times throughout the year. These meetings are a part of the new

Georgia Continuous Improvement Monitoring Proccess (G-CIMP) to review and

monitor the

completion or progress of the 10 performance goals for Georgia .

I understand what you are saying, . I am assuming that Newnan has had

a recent meeting ? Did you get the minutes from that meeting or attend ?

For those of you that do not know, these are public meetings - if you did

not attend and find out that there was a stakeholder meeting, you can

request the minutes .

,

What kind of meeting are you talking about? What should we be looking for with these meetings? I live in Cobb County. Are these meetings open to parents?

Thanks,

Michele

That haven't had a meeting for almost four months- but I am a member of

the stakeholder's meetings in newnan- they don't even know what they are

doing for this year - very unorganized- I was wondering if everyone was

seeing this kind of stuff- I think the state dept needs to be aware this

is what is happening.
