I did a rare Saturday workout -

I usually don't work out on Saturday either, but when I do I feel so good. I eat so badly that a workout makes me feel better.

I didn't workout this morning but I did get my 10,000 steps in today. :)

donna, you are a real inspiration as you slog through these

extreme workouts... i have both of chris freytag`s kits but

havent done them yet (im not sure if i can lift weights yet, too

scared to try... the memory of the pain is too fresh...lol). but

i can certainly give them a try using body weight (which is lower

now, yay!). i need to do some organized workouts again now

that im not working in the deli as much, perhaps i will do

chris`s first set! your reviews of the second set kind of

scare me though...LOL

Hi Carolyn! The lower body one will challenge you even w/ out weights! Core you can easily do w/out weights. The upper body, you may need them. The xtreme workouts are really hard, IMHO!I am graduating to them next week or the week after. Although , I have been reading this thread at VF and i really want this set!!

I have been in a funk on and off about some personal things, and i just really want to treat myself to that set!! and the new KCM pre-order and the Ellen Barrett new workout. But, alas, I don't think spending money will solve my problems! :)

well well well....its the weider xfactor st ! i agree that it

does look good. i dont have a source for the set at the moment

but i will keep my eye out for it.

it has many good things about it.... short workouts, a do-able

schedule of 3 times a week, body weight only and male eye candy.

sounds right up my alley!!

do you think the push up stands would make doing pushups easier

or harder?

:*carolyn.

.... not sure why my ? key works now and wouldnt before

Hi Carolyn!Yes, it sounds like a winner - I'm going to get it eventually - maybe for Xmas. I want to reign in my spending until Xmas - especially w/ Xmas shopping to do! :)I sometimes have keys not work on my computer, too - it is weird. Usually if I let it rest they all begin to work again!Donna> Although , I> have been reading this thread at VF and i really want this set!!> http://forum.videofitness.com/showthread.php?p=1904525#post1904525well well well....its the weider xfactor st ! i agree that it does look good. i dont have a source for the set at the moment but i will keep my eye out for it.it has many good things about it.... short workouts, a do-able schedule of 3 times a week, body weight only and male eye candy. sounds right up my alley!!do you think the push up stands would make doing pushups easier or harder?:*carolyn.... not sure why my ? key works now and wouldnt before

You are totally my hero on these workouts, Donna, especially the lower body one!! Great job on doing ALL that you did!

I love/hate homemade slime. I was the slime mom for classroom Halloween parties for years. The kids would love it but the moms, not so much! :-) Miriam is at an "intermediate" school this year, just 5th & 6th graders, intended to be a step between elementary & middle school. They still do birthday treats for 5th graders but I haven't heard anything yet about a Halloween party so I'm thinking we're done with that. started there in 6th grade, the year the school was converted to the 5/6 building and they definitely didn't do any kind of birthday or holiday things like the elementary schools do so I think my days as the Slime Mom are over!

Saturday workout - a rarity!

I did a rare Saturday workout - DH had to get up early to drive up to his Aunt's house so I got up, too and did the dreaded Lower Body of 10 lb slimdown and added on the upper body. I don't think the lower body will get easier for me any time soon - but I do think I'm doing better w/ it. Oh, I added on 10 min of yoga from 10 Min Solution Yoga for Beginners - I did the relaxation segment. I so need to focus on flexibility.Ok - better run - DD has a friend over and they are playing w/ homemade slime, hopefully it is not all over the house right now!Donna
