Guest guest Posted August 15, 2005 Report Share Posted August 15, 2005 I think that they should have one person with facial wasting on the billboard and then a few women and men who are great looking on the billboard. Then a caption reading "guess which one has AIDS? They all do". We are saying that people should be educated, well this is part of education. I have had obvious facial wasting years ago and I do remember the embarrassment, but these days I could care less if people know I have HIV positive or not. I'm not ashamed of it, but I do realize that people fear for losing their jobs or not getting one. My husband feels that people can't assume that one has AIDS just because they look like that. There are other illnesses that make people look ematiated too. Why not give people ALL the information if you are saying that they should be educated?
