Guest guest
" Our mental patterns create dis-eases in our bodies. If you can better understand where the problem is coming from, and practice my exercises and affirmations with a friend or family member, you will have taken the first step toward changing your life and healing your body. The body, like everything else in life, is a mirror of our inner thoughts and beliefs. The body is always talking to us. We just have to take the time to listen. " Here we are taking a common condition of the body, FIBROMYALGIA, highlighting probable mental causes for that condition, and offering comforting affirmations for you to use. Here is our example below. " Condition: Fibromyalgia Probable Cause: Represents rigid and stiff thinking. Tension, fear, and holding on to the past. New Thought Pattern: " I am relaxed and safe. My mind is flexible and peaceful, and so is my body. I am free of pain, and all is well! " In our example here, our AFFIRMATION is our " New thought pattern " -- above. Say this affirmation over and over many times a day. Feel the healing beginning to take place. " Know that when you work with these ideas, my loving support is with you. Guest guest
Kathleen, So good to hear from you again!! Does the CoDA stand for codependent's anonymous or something like?! I know, I'm being nosy. But, it looks familiar to me for some reason. Maybe I saw it in some of Melody Beattie's books, or something. I used to go to codependents anonymous meetings a long, long, long time ago too. Yeah, I'm with you!!! I would absolutely love to get to meet Louise Hay in person!! I was invited to go hear her speak in Atlanta, Georgia, but I couldn't go. However, Louise Hay will be speaking in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 21-23, 2004. If you need more info, call 1- or www.hayhouse.com .. I want to go to that one also, but probably won't be able to. I keep asking her to come to Houston, TX !! So, I don't have to spend the night at a motel, fly or drive a long way, etc. I think her tickets are kinda expensive, but the neat thing is her conferences are her AND many other wonderful speakers, so I'm sure you get your money's worth. But, Louise is the one I'd love to meet!!! I'd probably go up and give her a huge bear hug. I probably couldn't get any words out, but ...maybe if I just gave her a big bear hug with tears in my eyes (as I know there would be tears knowing me as emotional as I am), ...maybe that would be enough! She has certainly worked miracles and changes in my life! Well, let's see. If I start saving my pennies up right now, I've got a few months before I would have to buy the tickets. I hope! Take Care of yourself! Thanks much for sharing, Hugs, PJ Kathleen wrote: Hi, PJ, I 'm back to reading & posting again, I've been through a lot lately, but things r getting better one day at a time, which is the slogan of my other wonderful supprt group on the web, CoDA.... I have recently slimmed down the number of groups I am in, I decided to keep this group in my list because I love Louise Hay & the other authors that you refer to so often. if I ever get the chance I hope to meet her. > " Our mental patterns create dis-eases in our bodies.
