I swallow my Armour, but I break all the rules and take it with my latte. I made a decision early on to adjust my thyroid meds according to my life and not the other way around. I probably need a larger dose taking it this way. . . .

If I had concerns about osteoporosis, then I might try the sublingual route. That is strictly an "off-label" use of Armour.

I do the under the tongue thang, but have no idea if it makes any difference. But Jan, what I wanted to tell you, there's a lady on another site that does that with her cortisone. You have tasted the cortisone you take at some point? It's the single weirdest/most horrible thing I've ever been exposed to. I think it's radioactive. They oughta use it for some of those reality show knuckleheads to try to get down. And this person lets it melt in her mouth.

This equals sado masichism (sp?) to me. I heard that stuff is unbareable to taste, let alone hold it in your mouth. I think my adrenals would pump up just holding it under my tongue, lol!! Or shrivel away. Yukka.
