Guest guest
I keep getting the feeling, in your case, that this is "bouncing" Hashi's, back and forth, between hypo AND hyper. Some people cycle on this faster than others, some never cycle back to hyper at all. I'm just throwing that out there, so you'll be aware that that may be happening. That doesn't mean that that IS what's happening. That hunger is what makes me think this about the hyper. You evidently, may be one of those people who needs to test even more often than others, at least while this is going on. original symptoms A General Practitioner gave me Levoxyl based on blood test results. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of what those results were. I want to try to get a copy them soon. My original symptoms came on slowly, over a period of years but got much worse from December to March. They were really weird. I would eat, but not feel as though I had any energy from what I ate. Towards the end, I was having to eat every two hours or less. And I was extremely fatigued. I thought I was extremely hypoglycemic, yet that test came back negative. The original doctor said that I was borderline hypo at the time, but I'm not sure what that means by their standards. Thanks !
Guest guest
You know, that's one thing I've been seriously considering. I've been off the medication for eight days now, and I've got the super fatigue today and the sheer beginnings of brain fog. Plus, I'm having to eat more again. I just started reading more about Hashi's this week. I keep getting the feeling, in your case, that this is " bouncing " Hashi's, back and forth, between hypo AND hyper. Guest guest
I just thought of something else this morning-- the fact was, I wasn't really hungry at the time. I just felt like my battery was going low to the point where I was going to pass out, so I would eat. And frankly, I don't like to eat when I'm not in the mood, so this was driving me crazy. It had been like that for years, but it really had gotten more frequent. When I started taking the Levoxyl, the low food swings subsided somewhat. I still have them, but NOT as bad as December-March. Thank God. Thanks for spurring my own thoughts. I keep getting the feeling, in your case, that this is " bouncing " Hashi's, back and forth, between hypo AND hyper.
